One Life Alliance and the Oberoi Group meet in India

Plans are under with the Oberoi Group and One Life Alliance for a memorial event for the second anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

June 29-July 9th - Kia completed travels to Delhi and Mumbai joined by Bonnie Sullivan, a survivor of the 2008 attacks, to start the conversations of a Second Anniversary Memorial Event in collaboration with the Oberoi Group.  Kia shared the developments of One Life Alliance in her private meeting with Mr. P.R.S. Oberoi at his Dehli office. Mr. Oberoi will host the honorary founders of the One Life Alliance for the occasion.

In Mumbai, Kia, Bonnie, and Shibani Sachdeva, OLA Advisory Board Member, met with the Executive Vice President of the Oberoi Group, Mr. Devendra Bharma, along with the Rooms Division Manager, Mr. Varun Chhibber, to begin the initial planning of the Memorial.  The Oberoi Group enthusiastically supports the inspiring message of One Life Alliance.

In a magical turn of events, the Chief Minister of the state of Maharashtra, the Honorable Mr. Ashok Chavan, agreed to meet with Kia to give his blessing and endorsement for the message of One Life Alliance.  He also agreed to speak at the Memorial event in November.
